Guest Readers and Walk-in Users

 The university is open to the community, welcoming readers who are not students or members of the staff. We have two different categories for external users:
 
  1. Walk-in users: everyone is welcome to our library. Here are the services we provide to walk-in users:
    1. Use our reading rooms for study, doing your homework, etc.
    2. Use our book collections and our electronic resources (on-campus only using the library's computers).
    3. Use the library's computers.
    4. Library staff will provide short information literacy individual tutorials and will teach you how to use the library for you to take full advantage of the available resources.
  1. Guest readers: To use our services at almost the same extent of our students and staff, you need to register as a "Guest Reader" sending your application to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. These are some of the services provided to walk-in users:
    1. Use our reading rooms for study, doing your homework, etc.
    2. Use our book collections and our electronic resources (on-campus and off-campus in some cases).
    3. Use the library's computers.
    4. Library staff will provide short information literacy individual tutorials and will teach you how to use the library for you to take full advantage of the available resources.
    5. You can participate in regular library activities, including information literacy workshops.
    6. Include in the library mailing list
    7. Receive professional support on your studies and research
    8. Be part of cultural and research projects.
    9. Book study rooms
    10. Etc.
