USJ Green Campus at Ilha Verde has eight Study and Multipurpose rooms available. These rooms are located on the first and second floor of the Residential Hall. Gradually, different equipment and materials will be provided to enhance the learning experience coming out from the usage of such spaces.

All rooms are used under a Study and Multipurpose Rooms Rules and Regulations. During the academic year 2017-2018, this is running on an experimental basis. We want to work closely with students to learn and understand what are their needs. We will adapt the rules and regulations accordingly.

Individual study rooms

There are two individual study rooms. One on the first floor and another one on the second floor (currently not in use due to the damages in the air-conditioning system), these rooms should be used by students that are in need of a private and quiet room for deep studying and concentrated work on their projects and assignments.

Group Work Rooms

There are four group work rooms with a capacity up to 8 students. These rooms are located on the second floor. For these rooms, priority will be given to organised groups of students to conduct the necessary discussions on their group work assignments and projects.

Study room 6

Study Room 6 has a differentiated usage. It is the only study room that doesn't require the previous booking. Students can use it freely, and it's especially suited for Design and Architecture students to develop their projects. Two large cutting mats are permanently in use (and two more are available).

Multipurpose Room

This room located on the second floor will be used for training sessions, workshops, conferences and small public lectures, roundtables, etc. Students can book this room for their presentations or any learning activity.
